First off, thanks for stopping by my photography website!  Now a little about myself...

I've been an avid photographer ever since I was a little boy.  Now, when I was growing up back in the 70's, there was no such thing as a digital camera. I remember my late father had a couple of gems in a cabinet way up high in our kitchen.  There were Polaroids with interchangeable flash bulbs and a Hanimex 110 that we used to take on vacation and make slides out of them when we got home.  When I was in my teenage years, I picked up my first 35mm film camera, a Nikon F with a 50mm f/1.8 lens.  That Nikon went EVERYWHERE with me.  I used it on camping trips with the local Boy Scout Troop I was in and used it throughout high school to capture special moments.  Since then, film has given way to digital and I still use Nikon cameras to this day because I think they bring out the best pictures, they are built to withstand anything (mine's built like a tank!) and when it comes to photography over the years, Nikons have the reputation of taking some of the worlds best pictures.  And I still have that old film camera...and it works like a charm!

About 15 years ago, I decided to get back into photography in a more serious manner and open a business when I was asked to shoot a friend of mine's wedding.  Not knowing the huge undertaking shooting a wedding was, I decided to do it.  Well, let me tell you, it was an exhausting, long day and at times, I can honestly tell you I was scared at missing a shot or getting the exposure wrong.  Well, my friend and his wife were very impressed and pleased at the results.  Over the years since that day, I've shot tons of weddings, I've done some research, read many books on portraiture, taken some classes and went back to school to earn my degree in Professional Photography.  A year later, I took 2 intensive courses in portraiture at the NY Institute of Photography and to this day, I still will take an occasional class or seminar on photography.  Learning is endless...there's no such thing as having too much education!

Since my first wedding that I shot, I am so much more confident in my style and manner in which I shoot weddings.  My creativity is endless in post-production and many clients have thought of me as part of the family once the wedding was over since I treated them with respect, professionalism and had a great sense of humor, something that makes everyone at ease and more importantly expresses the happiness in the photos that I take of them.  Whether I shoot pictures at your wedding, engagement, birthday, of you, your children or even your pet...I will capture the pure essence of what you want in your photo session.

I only use Nikon professional digital cameras exclusively with Nikkor lenses and flashes.
